The Bros!

The Freschi brothers are Marco, Nicolas, & Lucas Freschi, born to an Italian-American family in Lodi, NJ. Raised in North Jersey, the Freschi family always spent summers at the Jersey shore where the brothers developed their love for the Ocean and New Jersey’s amazing coastline of saltwater marshes & barrier islands.

Leaving New Jersey after high school, Marco lived in the Pacific North-West where he volunteered at a oyster farm in the south Puget Sound learning the process of cultivating oysters from seed to harvest. From Washington, Marco continued North to Alaska where he got a job in a commercial seafood processing facility, and after two seasons of processing, started working for a small commercial set-net salmon fishing operation on Cook Inlet. Marco has also worked for a wholesale seafood company in the Hudson River Valley region of New York which supplied seafood to accounts such as the Mohonk Mountain House & the Culinary Institute of America, and a seafood wholesaler in New Orleans, Louisiana, supplying seafood to famous French Quarter oyster houses & historic restaurants such as Galatoire’s, Napoleon House, Dooky Chase and more.

With over 8 years of experience catching, buying, cutting, processing, & selling different types of seafood, in 2022 Marco decided to branch out on his own selling high quality fresh & frozen seafood products from the world’s most sustainable fisheries to kitchens & markets in his native New Jersey. With the help of his brothers & longtime friend Ryan Longton, Marco formed Fratelli Freschi Seafood Company with the driving goal of sourcing the best products and delivering them to the chefs who feed us here in Jersey. We are passionate about delivering our products with special care & attention to our customers needs and solidarity with working people everywhere.
